Irvine Clinical Research is seeking an energetic and positive Lab Medical Assistant. He or she will directly work with patients participating in research studies in service of our clinic’s mission to find new medical breakthroughs through clinical research.

  1. Perform blood draws (venipuncture) safely and efficiently

  2. Process laboratory samples accurately

  3. Organize fast-paced lab area

  4. Learn and execute 20+ different detailed lab protocols

  5. Assist physicians with routine procedures such as vital signs and ECG

  6. Provide clerical and administrative support if needed

Job Requirements

  1. Any certification authorized to draw blood, such as: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), California Phlebotomy Technician (CPT), or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

  2. Ability to build rapport with new and returning patients
